Day 9 - Norseman to Merredin

Tristan has certainly settled into this riding thing. Yet another big day of riding. We should be back in Perth in no time.

People have been generally supportive of Tristan along the way...though some are concerned for his safety at times (and that's putting their words EXTREMELY nicely - some words aren't meant for repeating). I think some drivers aren't used to sharing the road with a slow-poke rider (who isn't that slow-poke for a rider...but compared to those road trains, perhaps a little less fast!) But thanks to all those patient, encouraging drivers who have followed us and passed along the way! We especially like the horn toots, assuming of course they're friendly ones!

After much indecision, Tristan finally decided to stop the night at Merredin. Our last night in a Caravan Park. Oh how we will all enjoy sleeping in our own beds tomorrow! Things are definitely looking good for Tristan and his record. Much excitement is going round! Tomorrow should be an easy day. Less than 300km to home.
